Resources to Support the BC IRPs

This wiki provides resources in multiple means of representation so that students can access information related to the B.C. curriculum in a variety of ways.  Each wiki page is based on a BC IRP and contains a variety of digital resources that support that IRP.

Teachers are using this wiki to:

  • include students with special needs in the curriculum
  • differentiate instruction by offering student choice
  • alternate way to access curriculum material for students who are absent or can't read the textbook
  • more practice with curriculum material for students who need more repetition
  • extension activities for students who need more challenge
  • showing photos, videos, or interactives on the SMARTBoard
  • in computer lab with whole class (students only need to type in the sqworl address!)
  • at home for parents who want to help support their kids (just give parents the sqworl address!)

Need more resources?  Here are my favourite links for curriculum planning organized on a handy sqworl page.
